Refund Policy
1. General Principles
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, returns, and exchanges are handled by Organic Ube® Canada. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Due to the nature of food products, strict hygiene regulations apply to returns. We follow Canadian consumer protection rules and ensure a fair and transparent process.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:
- the product is unopened
- the product is unused
- the product is in its original packaging
- the return request is made within the timeframe stated below
Returns cannot be accepted for products that have been opened, consumed, or altered for health and safety reasons.
3. Timeframe for Returns
Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order.
Requests made after this period may not be eligible.
4. Non Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- opened food products
- products damaged after delivery due to improper handling
- items marked as final sale
- promotional gifts included with orders
5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or defective, please contact us immediately.
We will ask for photos of:
- the product
- the packaging
- the shipping label
If the issue is confirmed, we may offer one of the following:
- a replacement product
- a store credit
- a full refund
Organic Ube® Canada will cover return costs only in cases where the product is damaged or incorrect due to our error.
6. Return Shipping Costs
If the return is made for personal reasons such as changing your mind, ordering the wrong item, or disliking the taste or texture, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
If the return is approved due to an error on our part, we will cover or reimburse return shipping fees.
7. Refund Process
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or refusal of the refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method.
Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider and may take several business days.
Shipping fees paid at checkout are non refundable unless the return results from our error.
8. Lost or Missing Parcels
If a parcel is lost by the carrier, we will assist in opening an investigation. A refund or replacement may be offered once the carrier confirms the loss.
Orders marked as delivered by the carrier cannot be refunded unless an investigation confirms a delivery error.
9. Exchanges
Exchanges are available only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
We do not offer exchanges for opened food products or changes of preference.
